Who Is Lokesh Muni

A Life Dedicated to the Highest Ideal

Born in Rajasthan, India, Lokesh Muni took monastic vows at a young age within the Jain tradition. Over decades, his vision expanded beyond the monastery walls — he recognized that Ahimsa must not remain a private virtue but become a public force.

Today he is recognized as one of the foremost voices for interfaith dialogue and non-violence, having engaged with heads of state, religious leaders, and the United Nations in his pursuit of a more peaceful world.
