The Ahimsa World Alliance is the primary vehicle for Lokesh Muni's global peace work. Founded in 1995, the Alliance has grown into an international network connecting individuals, institutions, religious communities, and governments united by a commitment to non-violence.
The Alliance operates through a combination of formal diplomatic engagement, grassroots community programs, educational initiatives, and cultural exchanges — all aimed at making Ahimsa a living reality in every domain of human life.
Bringing together religious leaders, scholars, and practitioners from all faith traditions to engage in structured, sustained dialogue. These forums have produced joint declarations on peace, shared ethical principles, and ongoing cooperative relationships.
A global program equipping young people aged 16–30 with the philosophy, skills, and networks to become active agents of non-violence in their communities. Operating in 50+ countries, the program combines educational curricula, leadership training, and community action projects.
Annual peace marches organized in cities across India and internationally, bringing together thousands of citizens in public affirmation of non-violence. These visible demonstrations build social cohesion and keep the message of Ahimsa in public consciousness.
Direct engagement with United Nations bodies, national governments, and international organizations to advocate for non-violence as a framework for conflict prevention and resolution. Includes formal presentations, consultations, and the development of policy recommendations.
Developing and distributing curricula that integrate non-violence principles into school and university education systems. Currently working with educational authorities in India, the USA, and several European nations to incorporate Ahimsa-based conflict resolution training.
A dedicated research center producing academic and policy-relevant work on non-violence: its philosophical foundations, its practical applications in contemporary conflicts, and the measurable impact of Ahimsa-based programs around the world.
